September Turned the Poconos Gold
September brought cooler air, changing leaves, and plenty of reasons to look up across Northeast Pennsylvania. We celebrated a big milestone at the drop zone and watched the Poconos landscape start to shift into fall. Now October is almost here, beginning with one of the weekends that means the most to our community.
Pink Skies Return October 3-4
October begins with one of the most meaningful weekends on our calendar. The 3rd Annual “It’s Pink Above the Poconos” Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend returns October 3–4, bringing our skydiving community together in support of people affected by breast cancer.
Saturday starts on the ground with the 5K Run/Walk. Registration opens at 7:15 a.m., and the race begins at 8:00 a.m. Cancer survivors and warriors can book a tandem skydive for $220. For every qualifying regular-priced tandem skydive, $35 will benefit the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
You do not have to jump to be part of it. Friends and family are welcome to come out, support participants, and spend the weekend with us.

September Through the Lens
Daniella gave us two reasons to celebrate this month: her birthday and her 200th jump. Naturally, the milestone ended with a pie in the face. It is the kind of moment that shows where learning to skydive can lead, with more jumps, more milestones, and a crew ready to celebrate them with you.
