Join us for our third annual “It’s Pink Above the Poconos” Skydive and 5K Run/Walk Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend, taking place Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026.

This inspiring two-day event offers two meaningful ways to support breast cancer awareness and cancer support programs: an exhilarating tandem skydive or participation in a community 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

 

Two Ways to Make an Impact:

 

1. Take the Leap for a Meaningful Cause

 

Experience the thrill of a tandem skydive while supporting a meaningful mission. During Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend, $35 from every tandem skydive will be donated to the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley.

 

As a special tribute to cancer survivors and warriors, tandem skydives are available for just $220 (regularly $279). (Discounted survivor/warrior skydives are not eligible for the charitable donation contribution.)

Participants may also purchase optional photo and video packages to capture every unforgettable moment.
 

2. Join the Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk

 

Those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground are invited to participate in the Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 3rd.

 

The event will begin with registration at 7:15 a.m., followed by an 8:00 a.m. start time at Above the Poconos Skydivers. Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to participate in this family-friendly event that promotes awareness, remembrance, survivorship, and community support. 

New this year, participants will kick off the 5K Run/Walk on the airport taxiway, giving runners and walkers the exciting opportunity to start their race on an active aviation facility before heading out on the course.

Commemorative event T-shirts will be available to participants while supplies last.

Supporting a Mission of Hope

Funds raised throughout the weekend will help the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley, a non-profit organization that provides free services, including support groups, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle programs, and social activities for individuals and families affected by cancer.
