Whether you’re looking to amp things up after your first few tandem jumps or have been jumping for years and are ready to take the leap into solo diving, Above the Poconos Skydivers offers skydiving training classes that are just right for you.
At Above the Poconos Skydivers, our skydiving classes are designed to provide a safe and thrilling way to experience the excitement of freefalling from 10,000 feet above the ground. Our student program includes a multi-jump progression from beginner to licensed skydiver. Upon completion, you'll have met or exceeded the training requirements to earn a skydiving license from the United States Parachute Association (USPA).

All of our instructors are highly experienced and certified by the USPA, ensuring that you receive top-notch skydiving instruction and training. Unlike other centers, we are proud to be the old continuously running skydive USPA center with a perfect safety record. We use cutting-edge equipment and adhere to the latest safety protocols to guarantee a safe and enjoyable skydiving experience. Skydive License Pricing & Fees
All AFF and A License pricing at Above the Poconos Skydivers includes all gear rental and packing fees. USPA Annual Membership and License fees are not included and must be paid by the student directly to the USPA. USPA Membership is required for self-supervised jumps.

Getting Your Skydiving License
To achieve your A License, you must successfully complete the AFF skydiving program and then:

Learn advanced safety and skills via instructor jumps

Log a minimum of 25 jumps total

Learn to pack your own parachute

Pass your check dive and written test
Once you earn your USPA skydiving license, you can jump on your own terms anytime you want! The good news is you can progress through the levels on a timeline that matches your schedule. The USPA requires students to jump at least once every 30 days to maintain currency. Even if you get behind or wait longer than required, We can build in some refresher training to get you safely back to where it needs to be.
