Saturday started with an event that our staff had been waiting for, Amanda made her first skydive! Don Kellner was her tandem instructor and Pooky went along for video. Her Dad, Bill, joined her in the plane and made his first skydive with Darlene Kellner. He was video'd by John Donahue.
Although bouncy winds kept the solo students on the ground, experienced jumpers were still able to safely take to the skies. One jump was made into the ranch, to go gather firewood for the evening cookout and as normal, the last skydives were into the farm. Once jumping was done, they started the annual Easter Hunt, followed by a campfire and cookout. They spent many hours socializing and catching up with old friends that they haven't seen for a while and meeting new.
