Slippery Rock University students from Slippery Rock, PA have been skydiving at the Northeast Pennsylvania skydiving center, the Above the Poconos Skydivers for many years. Slippery Rock students go skydiving for an extreme sport adventure during Senior Week, Spring Break, or anytime. With a valid college ID, Slippery Rock University students will receive a $10 discount off of their introductory tandem skydiving lesson. We're about three hours away, so get together a group of friends and come on out for a fun day of skydiving!
Here are the turn by turn directions to the Above the Poconos Skydivers Skydiving Center from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA:
Take Route 108 East to Route 8 East. Get onto Interstate 80 East and get off at Exit 256. Take Route 93 South about 5 miles. Take a left at the traffic light at Rossi's Restaurant onto the Airport Beltway. Follow that road for about 2 miles, take a right after the sign "Hazleton Municipal Airport" onto Hess Road and go up the hill to the stop sign. Across the street is the airport parking lot. Our building is the brick one on the right side of the parking lot. Go through the bright blue door with "SKYDIVE" painted on it. If you arrive early, there are public restrooms in the terminal building on the left side of the parking lot.
