Bloomsburg University students have been skydiving at the Northeast Pennsylvania Ripcords, Inc. the Above the Poconos Skydivers for many years. Bloomsburg students go skydiving for an extreme sport adventure during Senior Week, Spring Break, or anytime. With a valid college ID, Bloomsburg students will receive a $10 discount off of their introductory tandem skydiving lesson. Since we're only 30 minutes away, get together a group of friends and come on out for a fun day of skydiving!
Here are the turn by turn directions to the Above the Poconos Skydivers Skydiving Center from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA:
Take Light St. to Interstate 80 East. Get off at Exit 256 (Old Exit 38) Take Route 93 South about 5 miles. Take a left at the traffic light at Rossi's Restaurant onto the Airport Beltway. Follow that road for about 2 miles, take a right after the sign "Hazleton Municipal Airport" onto Hess Road and go up the hill to the stop sign. Across the street is the airport parking lot. Our building is the brick one on the right side of the parking lot. Go through the bright blue door with "SKYDIVE" painted on it. If you arrive early, there are public restrooms in the terminal building on the left side of the parking lot.
